When you first use FTM 2024 for Mac’s new Contacts workspace, you’ll be asked to grant yourself access to your Contacts. In order to ask others to look at your tree, you are the only one who can link emails from your address book to people in your tree.
Manually Granting Access
In the event that you failed to notice the request, made a mistake in clicking, or rejected permission, you have the option to manually grant access.
Step 1: Open System Settings
Select System Settings from the top-left Apple menu.
Step 2: Select Privacy and Security
Please choose Privacy & Security from the left sidebar of the System Settings menu.

Step 3: Pick contacts
Scroll down to Contacts under privacy options.

Step 4: Enable Access for Family Tree Maker
To enable access to contacts, choose Family Tree Maker 2024 from the list of available applications and then activate it.
Wrapping Up
It is possible to improve the safety and confidentiality of family tree sharing by granting contact access in FTM 2024 for Mac. You have control over your contact information and have the ability to revoke access at any time using the privacy settings on your mobile device. Through this feature, family communication and the exchange of genealogical information are simplified.
