To avoid having to manually undo changes, you may use Family Tree Maker’s Turn Back Time feature. This feature remembers your past 5,000 activities, including merging trees, so you may revert your tree with a click. Even after closing and reopening your tree, you may utilize Turn Back Time.

Tip: No matter whether you store your tree locally or use TreeVault, it is always wise to back it up on a regular basis.

  1. Go to Plan’s Current Tree tab.
  2. Select Change Log. Family Tree Maker organizes your recent tree modifications. You may use the Change Log Size slider to set a limit on the amount of changes recorded in the log.

Tip: The Print Change Log button is located at the top of the tab; hitting it will allow you to print the list or produce a PDF. If this tree serves as your antenna, you may find a duplicate of this change record in TreeVault.
