Once you remove a family tree, all individuals and events are removed out of your account, and out of Ancestry. When photos, records and stories exist on the site before you added them to your tree or someone copied them to his or her tree, then these objects will be taken out of your account but will remain on the site.
The name of a deleted family tree will continue to appear in search results until the site updates. However, when any person clicks the name he will only get a message that the tree was taken down.
